Project: ABSTRACT FLOWER STUDIES

Inspired by Famous Artists and the feelings of summer, over the course of 4 weeks, we will be creating bright and bold abstract paintings based around the shapes and colours of flowers.
This 4 week workshop, will breakdown a painting into easy steps, giving you the chance to enjoy the process of creating art in a fun, (no pressure) way. This course is suitable for all creatives, from those who have never picked up a paint brush before to those who simply want to create artwork around like minded people.
In these sessions, you will learn how to create your very own abstract painting, inspired by American artist Georgia O'Keefe. O'Keefe, is renown for her sensual flower studies and desert landscapes, with colour and shape taking precedent. O'Keefe was mostly concerned with putting feelings to paper allowing free expression in her work.
Throughout these sessions we will be working with;
-
Acyrlic paints
-
Water Colour Paper
-
Perspective, composition, tone
-
Complimentary colours
-
Application of medium
-
fun, confidence
-
Bubbles (the fermented and non fermented kind)
All materials are provide by us - all we ask is that you arrive with an open mind, grateful heart and the willingness to create.
